Registrations Rolling In
More than 600 attendees are now predicted to attend, exceeding our goal for attendance. The great attendance means you will have a productive, profitable and enjoyable experience networking with all the other lifelong learning program professionals coming.
Hotel Rooms Added
More rooms are being added to our room block at several hotels in Savannah, according to our ace conference director Bill Strehl. The original room block filled in early September, but no need to worry. Just check the Hotel Reservation button at lern.org/conference for the latest availability at each hotel.
If you run into problems booking a hotel room, contact us at 800-678-5376 or email@example.com for assistance.
Best Russia Program Coming
Exciting to report that Dmitrii Gudzenko from Moscow, Russia, is planning to attend the conference. Dmitrii runs one of the best lifelong learning programs in the world, and has received two International LERN Awards in the past for his innovations in the field of lifelong learning.
Fantastic View at President’s Reception
The rooftop lounge at the Bohemian Hotel has been selected as the site of the President’s Reception Wednesday Nov 7 from 5-6 p.m. You will get a wonderful close-up view of the river, bridge and boats. The reception fee of $10 is good for two drinks. The hotel has requested no appetizers due to the size of our group. Attendance is limited.
New Integrated Marketing Model to be Announced
A new LERN Model in the emerging and hot area of Integrating Marketing will be announced by Joe Miera of Las Vegas. There are 25 methods, from email to videos, lifelong learning programs use to move people from one medium to register. Miera will announce which ones the most successful programs use the most, so you can plan to improve your digital and integrated marketing for 2019.
Emerging Leaders to Meet
Anyone age 39 and under is welcome to attend the Emerging Leaders meeting Tuesday Nov 6, right after the all-day seminars end. The meeting is 3:30 to 5 p.m. and will be led by Christina Swets of Chicago, this year’s Emerging Leaders Council Chair. There is no fee to attend.
LERN Leader Meeting Open to You
Any and all conference attendees are welcome and encouraged to attend this year’s LERN Leader meeting Tuesday, Nov 6, immediately following the all-day seminars. You create history this year by providing input and ideas for our new Program Certification for the field of lifelong learning.
Don’t Leave Early
Thinking of leaving the conference early? Big mistake. The change fee for your return flight will be well worth the amazing insights and predictions of this year’s NineShift all-new closing session Friday morning. One attendee last year called NineShift “life changing.” This is the second-to-last NineShift presentation, so don’t regret it. Be there for the entertaining and insightful story of the 21stcentury.
